Ontem, um dos meus ídolos do Metal perdeu sua batalha contra o câncer...

Acreditava em sua recuperação, pois de acordo com os boletins que acompanhava, as coisas pareciam ir evoluindo.

O próprio Dio declarou que venceria esse "dragão", mas infelizmente, o dragão se mostrou mais forte e feroz...

Hoje, deve estar acontecendo um grande show de Metal no além!

Com vocês, "Heaven and Hell", uma de minhas músicas favoritas de Dio! Uma homenagem mais que merecida a um grande ídolo...

Essa música é maravilhosa!
É mais que uma música bonita, it´s a song to live by...
Tudo o que penso em dizer ao aconselhar o filho que ainda não tenho...Um dia o embalerei ao som dessa canção que tanto fala ao meu coração...

Em 30 de abril de 1973, o álbum com "Simple Man" tinha sua gravação finalizada. Antes do infeliz acidente aéreo que vitimou três de seus integrantes, inclusive Ronnie Van Zant, vocalista e compositor dessa canção.

Felizmente,uma bela canção vive para sempre.
